AIMES is the production moniker and musical alter ego of Alabama born, Brooklyn resident, Aman Ellis. His music is psychedelic at heart, provoking hints of new-wave, italo, and cosmic disco. Lush synths and washed out vocals juxtapose big kicks and silky bass lines. The self-dubbed "Space Pop" explores vast sonic territories, keeping a close affinity to other-worldly psychedelia and interstellar weirdness.

"On Holiday", his latest single and Dither Down debut, comes ready for the party - not only with it's celestial original, but also a trio of remixes from ROTKRAFT, FUTURE FEELINGS, and SARE HAVLICEK. The result is the soundtrack to a party in the stars, the sort of pulsating blissed out romp, that you can see the denizens of Liquid Sky partaking in, if they were magically and cosmically transported to where the aliens were partying. It's 80's Pyramid Club cum Berliner after hours rave, unapolgetically decadent. This, is the best kind of head music.
